Hatching happens on your plot, not in the field. A map egg is a target with an HP bar. Shooting it drops a pickup. That pickup has to be placed at home. The placed egg shows a remaining-time label, and when it hits zero the egg is ready to hatch. Hatching puts the animal on that spot, already able to earn cash.
Steps
- Shoot a map egg until the bar empties.
- Carry the pickup home. You can move while holding it.
- Place it on the plot immediately. One player lost a high-health Space Egg by missing the window, and the warning in that session was that eggs disappear if they are not placed in time.
- Read the timer. Do not use a single number from another session. Common eggs were about 3 seconds, an Epic Egg was 40 seconds, a large Strawberry Egg was about 19 minutes, and Space, Devil, Magic, and Pat Eggs were reported in the ranges on the core loop guide.
- When the egg is marked ready, hatch it. Recorded results include a Pony from an early Common Egg, Caloridos from an Epic Egg, a Secret Kraken from a Devil Egg, and a Dragon from a ready Strawberry Egg.
Several eggs can count down at once. Use the wait for DamageAuto training or a shop trip.
After the animal appears
The cash label is the decision. Session examples: Hamster and Crab about $1 per second, a Bat $3 per second, a Kangaroo $17, Caloridos $156, and one unnamed Gold-label hatch at $2,000. A transcript line also credited about $23 to a Cat. The animal catalog has no separate Cat species, so that figure may belong to the Cat Egg's Bat or Horse. A B-egg Bat was separately read at $200 per second. Use the number on your hatch.
Then:
- Keep animals whose label is worth the slot.
- Unequip or sell $0 hatches, such as the lizard that was removed on the spot.
- Sell a batch when you want a lump sum. One sale of a lizard, a horse, Caloridos, and a bat was followed by a balance around $3,000,000. Another telling of a sale names the lizard, horse, and bat and the same jump toward $3,000,000.
- If a Feed me prompt appears, no food source has been confirmed. Do not plan your route around feeding.
When it stalls
| What you see | What it means |
|---|---|
| The egg vanished in the field | It was never placed, or the carry took too long. Place first, then shoot again. |
| The countdown is still running | Rarer and larger eggs take minutes. Wait for the ready state. |
| No space left | Slots are shared by placed eggs and animals. Sell a low earner or buy plot space, then place. |
| You looked for the animal at the map egg | The map egg only cracks. The animal is the plot hatch. |
Instant Hatch (1) is a developer product listed at R$9. The name says it skips the wait. The effect was not playtested in the sources, and the free loop is still place-and-wait.
There is no published hatch table. The same egg name produced different animals: Magic gave a Frog and a Capybara, Hacker gave a Kraken and a Golden Retriever, Six-Seven gave a Polar Bear and a Llama, Heaven gave a mini Dragon and a Sphinx, and Strawberry gave a Kangaroo and a Dragon. Those are results that happened, not guaranteed drops. The game is described as RNG, and no odds are shown.
