Every map egg can show a name and a rarity word. Those are different facts. The name is the egg. The word is a quality label. Size and mutation are further labels. None of them is a published drop table.
Labels read in play
| Label | Where it was seen | What players did |
|---|---|---|
| Common | Eggs, and a Bat reveal | Shot nearby; a Common Egg hatched a Hamster; a B-egg Bat was called Common and $200 per second |
| Epic | Eggs | Carried home; 40 second hatch |
| Legendary | Eggs, and a Triple-Head Cobra | Grabbed on sight; three Legendary Eggs waited to hatch at once |
| Mythic | Eggs, and the RPG's quality band | Prioritized over nearby eggs. Also the word on the RPG |
| Transcendent | Eggs | Called the strongest egg; one player held two and saved one |
| Secret | A hatched Kraken, not an egg | Announced when a Devil Egg hatched |
Epic and Transcendent were read on eggs, not confirmed as animal-rarity words. Common, Legendary, and Secret were read on animals. Whether eggs and animals share one ladder is not stated. The game does not publish a full tier list, so more words may exist.
Names are not the rarity word
Egg names seen with a result or a number are on the egg index. The important pattern from hatches:
| Egg | Result that actually happened |
|---|---|
| Green, Neon, Common | Hamster; Common also hatched a Pony and a Rat |
| Jungle | Crab at $1, and a small lizard with no earnings |
| B Egg | Bat read as Common at $200 per second |
| Bat Egg | Bat at $3 per second. This may be the same egg as B Egg. The names and the rates disagree, so both are kept. |
| Cat Egg | Bat at $3 per second, and a Horse |
| Epic | Caloridos at $156 in 40 seconds |
| Small Strawberry | Kangaroo at about $17 |
| Large Strawberry | Dragon after about 19 minutes |
| Devil | Kraken, Secret reveal, about 2 minutes in that run |
| Hacker | Kraken and a Golden Retriever |
| Space, also called Cosmic in one note | Small Cobra in about 3 minutes; the 80,000 HP egg that despawned |
| Magic | Frog at $3, and a Capybara |
| Heaven | Mini Dragon and a Sphinx |
| Lucky | Small Dragon |
| Angel | Hydra |
| Six-Seven | Polar Bear and a Llama. The Polar Bear was called quite rare and low earning. |
| Tiger | Golden Minotaur, also heard as Meenator |
| Planet | Gold Chicken in 37 seconds |
| Mystery | Kangaroo, and a Unicorn from a broken Mystery Egg |
| Mythic egg | Giraffe |
A late RPG sweep also named Heaven, Angel, Six-Seven, Magma, Undead, Bat, Fish, Demon, Frost, Mythic, and Transcendent eggs on the map. Magma, Undead, Fish, Demon, and Frost have no documented hatch. Peeman was skipped because it could not be cracked. Pat has a roughly 2 minute timer and no named animal.
How to take a rarer egg
- Read the name and the tier word before you spend the magazine.
- Compare the HP bar with your gun. Training and the next purchase are what turn a high bar into a pickup.
- Shoot it open.
- Carry it home inside the despawn window.
- Place it and wait. Players expected a better animal from the longest timer and from a very large Strawberry. That matched several runs. It is not a published rule. Six-Seven is the counterexample: a rare-looking Polar Bear that paid poorly.
No odds are displayed. Judge the animal by its cash label, then cull the $1 to $3 fillers if the plot is tight. Animals kept above a roughly $50 line in one cleanup included Cobra and Minotaur.
Secret has not been confirmed as a word printed on an egg. If you see it on an egg later, that is new.
